1. Agreement
By installing or using the Fujikoe app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Fujikoe is published by [DEVELOPER NAME] ("we", "us").
2. The service
Fujikoe is a Japanese-language study tool: flashcards, listening and shadowing drills, kanji handwriting practice, journaling, and optional AI-powered features. It is provided free of charge, supported by a single banner advertisement.
3. Your API keys and AI usage
- AI features require an API key you obtain from a third-party provider (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). Your use of that key is governed by your agreement with that provider.
- You are responsible for all charges your provider bills for requests you trigger in Fujikoe.
- AI output can be inaccurate. It is study assistance, not authoritative instruction — verify anything important.
4. Your content
Everything you create (cards, journal entries, backups) is yours and stays on your device. You are responsible for safeguarding backup files you export, and for the contents of any deck you import.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Fujikoe to violate law, infringe others' rights, or abuse third-party AI services. Imported decks must be ones you have the right to use.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its built-in study content remain our property. Third-party decks you import remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
Fujikoe is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Language-learning outcomes depend on your own study.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including lost data (please use the backup feature) or third-party AI charges.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
